No. Dead men don't have brain function and can not dream.

There are three types of reality:

Personal Reality: What you percieve to be real. Your collective thoughts and interpretations. This includes thinking a girl likes you when she's really trying to get to the restroom.

Actual Reality: The collective thoughts and interpretations of a population. This explains the interactions between personal realities. It reconciles inconsistencies by including the girl's question, "Can I get by?" with your interpretation, "C'mon I'm bi."

Physical Reality: That which just is, no matter how anyone iterprets it. That rock was not a squirrel. This includes the Earth, trees, stars, buildings, shoes...

I hope this clears things up!

I can think of three categories of "reality":

Absolute Reality. That Reality which is changeless and eternal. Infinite Space is the best instance I can mention. No matter whether It is occupied at any time by planets or galaxies or universes, that Space always is. It cannot be created or destroyed or altered in any way, ever.

Temporary reality. Everything whatsoever that has form, moving or unmoving, from an ant to a human being, from an atom to a universe - all appear, persist for a time, be it a second or billions of years, and disappear.

Personal reality. The experiencing of anything by individual sentient beings .Even dreaming falls into the category of personal reality, for though it is admitted that whatever is seen in dream is unreal, the EXPERIENCING is real enough, at times all too real, like in nightmares, while the dream lasts. And not only while the dream lasts. Sometimes, on waking up, we stare bewildered, wondering which is truly "real", what we experienced in dream or where we now are.

If by "Reality" you mean what I have termed Absolute Reality, then I can say that THAT Reality, other than being a "dead man"s dream" is a live man"s waking state! He is truly awake who sees THAT Reality as the All, the Source of all other "realities" contained within IT.

If an event can be repeatedly created it is real. This is important because our senses 'deceive' us. Often we 'see' what we want to see.
