It happens all the time in marriages. Initially it's the man who wants it, then finally when a woman becomes mature (usually in her mid-thirties) she becomes more sexually active. She learns to appreciate her body more, she's more confident, and more secure. She can enjoy herself more. Typically that's when a woman enters her sexual prime & a man is coming out of his. A man is in his sexual prime at about 18 + years. So hence, there's the problem. So the two of you should work together and agree on some sort of compromise. Set aside some special time once or twice a week for each other. Also he should allow you a couple of spontaneous nights a month. So when that urge hits you, no questions asked, he should oblige and perform those husbandly duties. And the same consideration should be given to him as well. Your husband should put aside his petty foolishness about him being used to you never being in the mood. The two of you are adults and you should approach every issue in adult ways. Happy New Year and Lots of Great Sex in 2007.

Not sure what you have or have not tried? Try a romantic night out, wine, dine and back to a cozy bed and breakfast, or something a little more plush w/a hot tub ! Experimentation can also do wonders as well. Not saying you should do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Ask him what his fantasy is, and perform something within limits. Try an aphrodisiac, that should help things along....good luck PS-I wouldn't Liston too much about the age thing, I know what the stat's are with male/female prime, but there are some older men that still got it over the young ones, they may just need a little more TLC

They say that a woman's sex drive doesn't reach it's peak until her 40's and a man's sex drive peaks at age 18...so that could be a problem. Try talking more about this with him, tell him that you want to feel closer to him and your kids are getting older so they can depend more on themselves. I don't really know what to tell you since I'm only 22 and married for 3 years so I don't have that much experience with this kind of stuff, but good luck!

May be you need to surprise him before it turn on.
You have to know that man life in three different lives at the same time, as working person, family person and also himself. If something happen among them, that becomes trouble especially in sex relationship with his wife. The best advice is you have to find what's wrong among three lives of your husband.
Any trouble/s? If there are/is, so let you help to solve them/it with your husband. Your husband will be happy if the problems have solved and you will get what you want, better or more........... I hope.
OK, good luck.

Sorry to hear that and never thought I would pass on sex to watch TV but ya know, there are some good shows on cable. And sorry to say if they are new...I have been known to pass. Isn't marriage a wonderful thing?
But isn't it also true that a dude is at his prime at 18 and slowly wains, while the woman doesn't hit her prime until her 30's? That's why when you were younger you should have done it ALL the time because he is pretty much done with it.
