Why are you wearing such heavy foundation and lipstick? Do you really wear false eyelashes every day? As far as skin-healthy, make sure you thoroughly cleanse every night. Don't forget to moisturize. Also make sure that what you use for makeup is non-comedogenic (doesn't clog your pores - that's a biggie!) and hypo-allergenic (safe for sensitive skin). Aside from that, I can't say I've ever heard of there being a major problem.

I am concerned though, about why you feel you need to wear so much every day.

Yes I do definitely agree with the others. make-up is definitely healthy. First and for most a tremendous amount of make- up drowns the image you are trying to portray. Most people who wear a lot of make-up take away their beauty. Heavy make-up is very unnatural. Which defeats the purpose of wearing make-up on a every day basis. This heavy amount of the consumption of make-up causes a build up that clogs your pores causing your skin to not be able to breathe. That causes blemishes, pimples, and damage to your skin. Most people who wear heavy make-up does this to cover and hide flaws. You should focus on wearing natural light amounts of make- up. This heavy make-up is increasing your skin to age. If anything save all that make-up for when you get real old lol jk. Now is all about natural and if you want to preserve that face lighten up on the make up and show that natural beauty. Lots is to much and little is just right.

I used to wear a foundation make-up until I decided I would only wear it if I went out evenings. Its better for the skin not to since it clogs the pores. How about making an appt with a good dept store for a make-up do-over? Its fun & you get professional advice. I've had it done 2x many yrs apart & bought the make-up & later matched it up with less expensive product. People have complimented me on my make-up. I go without it entirely when I'm home on week-ends until I get ready to go out. I'm 60 & am blessed with good skin. I've never laid outside to get a tan (I think that's worse for your skin when you're older than make-up is). Keep your skin clean as much as is possible. Wash before you go to bed & moisturize. Moisturize before applying make-up also.

As long as you wash your face in the morning and before bed it's okay. However, it is good to let your face breath every now and again. There is much to say about the natural look. Sometimes, less is more. About the false eyelashes though, you may want to lay off of them. They will ruin your real lashes in time, if they haven't already.

That much make-up makes you look cheesy if you are young, and desperate if you are old. Your pores will become enlarged from the constant coat of grime from the make-up. And your lashes are too delicate for falsies everyday. You can thin them out to the point that they do not grow back.
Unless you do adult films or work in Vegas...chances are its unattractive and you should relax a little.

It will cause skin damage by the time you get older and will increase how old you look without make-up. And the false eyelashes everyday will cause the existing lashes you have to fall out.

If you use quality stuff that won't clog your pores and can actually benefit your skin (like Chanel products) it's fine, but if you use junk, it'll harm your skin over time. I recommend Chanel to everyone because it's just... healthy and high quality. They make some lipsticks that are actually really good for your lips.

Really, as long as you don't go to bed in makeup, it's fine. (Never sleep in makeup!) Be sure to wash, tone, and moisturize in the morning and at night. Exfolliate weekly. Use eye cream and sunscreen daily. If you take proper care to counteract the damage of makeup, sun, exposure, and toxins, then daily use of makeup will not cause damage, and in fact, some makeup contains sunscreen. (Sun is your skin's worst damage factor).
