Why are guys more attractive when...?

Is there any scientific or psycological reason that right after a guy works up a sweat from hard labor or working out at the gym, and has not yet washed, they seem more attractive? Is there a similar phenomenon that goes the other way?

yes.
the reasons are that we react to the pheromones that are given off from the body, and yess it works both ways.
pheromones are chemical signals that we smell and unknowingly react to.

Well i think that guys are more attractive while they are sweety because thheir scalp most of the time sweet and that makes thier hair wet. The sweet also gives their skin a glossy. This makes a guy really hottt. Also most of us have day-dreamed about making love on the beach with a hot guy after going swimming or something and the sweety guy reminds us about that. Probably with alot more clothes thatn usual.

It's a perception that
1. The guy is macho & virile (stereotype)
2. You instictively smell the male pheromone (even through the sweaty smell) which is a primate attraction to the opposite sex.

it is because there are chemicals in guys sweat that naturally attract females when females smell it releases a chemical in there brain that makes them more attracted to it actually i was reading somewhere that most colognes are just that smell magnified i think they call the chemicals pheromones

I kind of think sweat is gross, but that's just my opinion. I think that's the sort of thing that varies from person to person, depending on personal preference.
