on and off I get this pinch in the lower right side of my back. When I bend over sometimes I feel thi pinch. But for the most part I'm ok through out the day. I know about 4 years ago I injured my back trying to wrestle my uncle. I also was a auto mechanic and spent a great deal of time bent over the hood of a car. Any advice?

It depends upon the severity of the initial injury, a herniated disc can be a lifelong problem but even still can be treated with physical therapy. You may want to inquire about physical therapy and learn exercises for the back and that will help strengthen your core.

There is no cure but you should visit a chiropracter to check your back out and go to a chiropractor before a doctor because doctors immediately want to do surgery. My husband has back problems and he is going to a chiropracter and he got a machine that he attaches electrodes to his back and it shocks the areas with pain with a slight shock to the muscle .It works good luck.

I think there's probably no cure for back pain. There are ways to manage and deal with back pain. Those include stretching and exercising which have to be done for life for optimal functioning of human lower back. That's my way of looking at it.

I've had back pain for years.

Just keep active & those back muscles in tone.

When the muscles are weak they don't support the back well, & the pressure on the discs is to much.

Back muscles that are in shape keep the pressure off the discs.

Check with your doctor first and ask for a referral to a physical Therapist.
