What of the whales that beach themselves annually by the thousand?

no other species of animals except the humans commit suicide. some of the species of rodents are mistaken to commit suicide in large numbers . this is was mistaken for their emmigration . commiting suicide is a psycological feeling of a human when he gets disguisted with life or thinks he always is a loser or due to many reasons

It has never been recorded in history any other species than a human being commiting suicide, althogh some animals may sometimes provoke their own deaths it is never intentional. Viruses however do comit suicide to reproduce...they kill themselves and make your cells a living virus factory at their own expence.

No animal that I am aware of uses violent methods or even a conscience means to end their lives. Many species have been known to die of grief. They literally stop eating or doing anything that will keep themselves alive after suffering a loss such as a mate.

If you are talking about other worlds. Beside ours. Other worlds are more intelligent then we. I do not believe that those people do commit suicide. I believe that because our world we live in is the most wicked world. And thats why we give up so easy.

some people would say lemmings but Walt Disney made a documentary that he wanted to make more exciting. He solved that by throwing throwing a bunch of them in the water and filming them drown.

I know ants do... insects in general, like bees & wasps. There's some birds... But yeah the ants. They're the cool ones, they explode. Bears?
