Storytime....sh i t you not...

I went to see INXS (that album was out that had "need you tonight" and " Devil inside" and "Never Tear us Apart") with a friend at the Meadownlands ( NJ )
the opening act was Ziggy Marley ("Tomorrow people" was the song that was featured)

Anywho...me and my friend walked around before the concert...we were like 16 and got dropped off early by his parents...

we came to this escalator that was shut off...so we walked up...
we heard like "tuning up" stuff, and kept going, and it got louder and stuff...

then we turned the corner and were face to face with the whole INXS band ....no lie....

we were frozen, they kept tuning up...and the Michael Hutchence was like "yo...g'day" and we were like "WHOOPS! sry " and ran like hell...

so ... that was funny and the concert was cool...

Like 1986 or something

My favorite 80's song is "Pour Some Sugar on Me." My favorite 80's memory was cruising listening to Def Leopard.

I'll never forget hearing Paradise City by Guns N Roses. That song sounded so different and raw back then. My favorite memory was hanging out at my friends house while they tried to become a rock band. There was more drinking and fighting than actually playing of music, but it was fun.

There are too many songs to name. But a great memory: In the early 80's I liked to put a few My Little Ponies on my sister's record player and watch them go like a merry-go-round, boy that really ticked her off! That and playing records at the wrong speed.

I could never narrow my favorite song from the eighties down to one but I'll say Thriller by Michael Jackson is definitely up there-as far as memory-that might be watching the video with my family when it debuted! The eighties rock!!!!!!!
