How do I access the internet (or just email) using a local coffee shop's FREE wi-fi connection using my motorola razr phone? If this isn't possible, what phone would do this? Do I need to call my company (cingular) and pay for something, thus making it NOT free? Thanks!

Well first of all not all cell phones are capable of using Wi-Fi signals. For instance Motorola Razr phone does not have Wi Fi built into the phone, so you won't be able to use it to access the internet at a coffee shop. There are however phones that are called smart phones or PDA meaning they have their own operating system built into the phone and also have Wi Fi built in. That means if you had this type of phone and were in a Wi-Fi access store or shop, the phone will automatically pick up the signal and you can use the phone for internet access and there is no need to call your cell phone company. Make sure the place that you are going offers Free Wi-Fi and not a place that you have to pay a hourly charge or day for Wi-Fi access.
