Ok...I had some brown and bloody spotting or discharge a couple of weeks ago it lasted almost a week...2 out of 6 it was about a quarter size on a pad but the rest it was just when i wiped...the reaons im asking is because im also 4 weeks late for my period...i have absolutley no symptoms of being pregnant....but im very much stressed about this whole thing...and i was wondering what the difference is and if i should be concerned....or if this may mean im pregnant i have taken 4 HPT and all were negative...so does this mean im pregnant? i need some answers!! help

If you are really stressed out then that is what could be causing your period to be off. If you think you might be pregnant you should go and have a blood test done.

go to the doctor...b/c i missed my period for 3 months lol! and yes i took preg tests many times...all were negative and ive also always had irregular periods so i didnt know what was going on but i definately didnt think i was pregnant after like 20 negative tests...and P.S. I had no symptoms either...turns out i was pregnant...found that out when i started bleeding like crazy and i was having a miscarriage... that sounds like spotting to me though...from my understanding there are different kinds of discharge like clear, thick, icky, slimy, white, yellow, but when they call it "spotting" it means some type of blood, lightly colored, reddish, pink or brown

Spotting is very light bleeding....that looks like spots. Discharge is white, clear, or sometimes slightly yellow. You probably just had a very light period....with that many pregnancy tests, and as late as you are and still getting negatives, you're most likely not pregnant.

Go see your Dr ASAP he'll be able 2 tell U more.Spotting is red or brown Discharge is yellow or white
