Any negative opinions about Skype?

I have used Skype since the big promotion unlimited calls anywhere within the United States to a landlline phone or cell phone until 12/31/06 for free. The service is wonderful and I have not had any problems with the call quality.

I think the only thing that people are saying negative about after this promotion effective 1/01/07, skype will charge users who want unlimited calling within the United States a annual fee of $14.95. Most have complain saying the service was free but now they must have to pay.

If you don't want this unlimited calls but want to pay as you make the calls it will cost you 2 cents a minute calling within the United States. Another concern is how do people call you if you are able to call them on skype. Well skype offers your own phone number with any area code that you want including voicemail for a fee of 3 months for $12.00 or for a year for $40.00.

Overall the service is wonderful with no complaints from me. I enjoyed their service tremendously with superior call quality. You will need a headset to hook your headset to your computer or you can buy a usb phone that is connected to your computer.
