Traditions family and customs sometimes are hard to walk away from....love is a funny thing because you can find it more than once move on and find it again....or ask him to leave all this for you as long as you think he will never regret leaving all this for you.....BTW if you leave and move on he may regret not choosing you forever...that's life.

He is most probably fulfiling his duty as a son on the arranged marriage even though its engagement first. I don't see any bright future even if you both werel to marry. This boyfriend is definitely not self-dependent. I suggest you drop him and move on with your life. Should you choose to marry him you life will be miserable under the guidance of his family members who will take control of his life.

That happened to me....Let him go now. And run away from him as fast as possible. He's probably a mama's boy anyway because your love is not good enough for him. He would fight for you if he wanted to be with you. You basically used you to date, and doesnt want to marry you. I'm sorry if anything i just said sounds mean, but I have been there, and I felt so used.

Perhaps he is telling you he loves you because that is what you want to hear. Are you lovers? Do you believe in fidelity in marriage? If you do, then he must also, otherwise you are not a good match. So I say DTMFA.
