I opened my Internet Explorer and everything went nuts!!! If I use MSN I have no problems. So how do I get rid of IE??Please Help/ Thanks

MSN & IE are the same. I think you may have viruses. I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

To uninstall Internet Explorer in Windows XP, go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Windows Internet Explorer > Remove.
You might want to try Mozilla Firefox

Go to McAfee.com and get some protection! Get the virus out of your comp. If you dont want IE then go to control panel>add remove programs>internet explorer>remove!

if u have windows XP SP2; just go to your start menu. Then go to program access and defaults; in the left panel you will see; set program access and default menu. Go into it and then choose a customized setting; click on the drop down menu and then choose disable access to internet explorer. This is a completely safe step and can be easily reversed

i would be very difficult to uninstall ie and could damage your system.(dumb windows) download firefox web browser http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox
it is much more secure with many available plugins and superfast downloads.

my computer did the same thing. it started on 12/28. when my son update myspace it just when nuts. it was installing virus software. it said my computer had virus . it install several programs. now my computer is slow. i took most of them off. please let me know what you did
