about a year apart is good. The closer in age they are the better they will get along and have a better chance of having a closer relationship....Also, once one starts school you know they other two are soon to follow..

That really depends on a lot of things. How old are you both? My daughter and our baby on the way will be 2 1/2 yrs apart, but my daughter is still potty training and won't be trained before the baby arrives-that is something to consider. What are your finances like? Will your wife be able to go back to work after maternity leave, or can you afford for her to stay home? See how you feel after the first. Having kids close together can be great for the kids, but may tire you out more than you bargained for.

It really matters on how you want your children to be. I have 3. One is 14, one is 10 and the other is only 2. I put enough years in between all of them so they had a chance to grow up and become an individual.
On the other hand, my brother had all 3 of his girls within 4 years and they had someone close in age to grow up with. The only thing is that he went broke trying to buy diapers and formula!
So really it depends on your finances, your wifes health and nature. Children for the most part come when they want to, not always when you plan for them.
2 years or more is good....

Far enough apart so that you are prepared emotionally and financially to raise them all. Hopefully you have a hefty bank account now because you're going to need it to send three kids to college in the future when tuition of today is multiplied by 10 and scholarships are fewer and farther between and the loan companies require that ALL student loans be paid in full within the first year of graudation.

I had three kids. My middle daughter had never liked being in the middle. It was this way for her, To old to do what the her younger sister does and to young to do what the older one does.
I tried telling her the she was the best being in the middle like an oreo cookie, because I always liked the icing in the middle. Of course she didn't by it. If I could do it over again I would not have an uneven number of children. One is always lonely, Two is good but uneven numbers doesn't work.
Stick with even numbers of children. We just lost my oldest daughter, now my middle daughter has to be the older sister to her younger one. I wish you both good luck.

A three yr gap between kids worked really well for us..... by the time the second one is about to be born the older child is getting out there in the world without too much anxiety ....pre school sleepovers at grandmas etc.. its a good amount of time between pregnancies to let your wife get her body back to herself .. thats how i felt anyhow breastfeeding for 20 months.... and to be well nourished again got to keep your nutrients up !!!!.. when the third is born the first will be comfortable at school not xtra first yr stress .. and he or she will have great info for show and tell !!!! you never know who you are going to get !!!! enjoy !!!!! you are creating family history !!!

I have two 2 boys there are 2 years apart. Great friends always playing and sometimes fighting too. But the older one always protects his younger brother.

at least 3 years apart so you won`t have to go carrying 3 kids around in a store.

Depends upon how old the two of you are. If you have lots of time you should probably space them 4-5 years apart.
