Ok, my aunt loves rock and i used to hate it. She also listens to heavy metal and i still hate it. I normally just listen to rap& r&b & regae [sp] But lately i have been listening to ALOT of rock. That is ALMOST my favorite genre. My list goes
1. R&B [ along with some rap artists]
2. Rock
3. Rap
4. Regae
Has this ever happened to you?? Like, you did not like a certain genre for a long time and then all of a sudden you like it???

Sure. It's kinda like how your taste buds change (they say every 7 years). I also think age has something to do with it. You grow to appreciate different types of music. But I say..Rock On!!!

Yea that happen to me. Me and my mom have this rivalry between us she like country and everything and i like all types of rock. So every time we get in the car she turns on the country stations and i will hate it and find a way to ignore it then after a while i got use to it. So now I'm a Sock Rockin Half Country listen (Only In The Car) Girl.

Yeah.. I use to be the biggest Rap fan.. ever. And now I'm listening to nothing but Rock now.. currently listening to Avenged Sevenfold.. I know, sounds nothing like Dem Franchize Boyz.

Suprisingly, that has never happened to me. And I'm a very random person though. Judging by what you have said I hope it DOES happen to me though, I would love to be exposed to tons of new music ( Just as long as it's not Rap. Sorry but I really really really hate it)

Yes with age your taste of music changes, I use to like old rock and slow romantic tunes, but now I love Techno really love it, I have no idea but it works for me.

yeah, i used to hate pop, but then for some reason it was all i started listening to. Same thing happened with the oldies. I started listening to nothing but oldies. I'll listen to anything, I like it all.

Yes, this happens with many people. We don't like same thing continuously. For example, if you see a movie again and again, you feel bored at sometime, no matter how good that movie is.

happend to me like 2 moths ago i alwasy listend to rap.. now its changed it goes r&b,rap,rock,and nothing elses oh and some oldies lol weird aahaha im only 16 too

yes it has!!!! I used to hate rap ,but that's all i hear around my house.So one morning i caught myself turning the radio on and there was nothing on so i just turned to rap!!
