its hard to say because every season of American Idol is so much different from the next...
my personal fav season of Idol is Season 2 with Ruben, Clay, Josh, K-Lo, Kim Caldwel and everyone else

I think it should just go away. Along with the dancing and survival contests and celeb-reality crap. Enough reality, I want more storytelling.

I think it will probably be better. Last year didn't have any real stars emerge.
