I think it will be a demoralizing shot in the skull for the insurgency. I'm sorry that it took so long but I think justice had to be played out as best as it could be. I also think our president has been delaying his new war strategy until after the execution. We will see what the fallout is.

When they convicted him and sentenced him to hanging it seemed like a great thing. Now that I see all the reaction the hanging has caused I don't know what to think. I wonder if there will be retalition here or in Iraq. I fear for our soldiers and for us.

He was convicted and sentenced by an Iraqi judge according to Iraqi law. He absolutely deserved to die. I only wish it would have been more painful.
