is there any side affects in growth hormones?? i want to get taller, but if there are any side effects, i wont take them. if anyone is curious, im 17 and 5'4".

yes there are side effects but growth hormone wont help u get taller. the onlything GH does is make you gain muscle and lose body fat. if you take it in high doses your jaw will over grow. thats pretty scary but thats the truth.

Oh yes...
A few examples: they can make certain body parts (IE hands and feet) disproportionately huge and weaken your joints as they causes even growth around bones and risk overworking your heart. There are also several other problems beyond these which I can not describe since I am not a doctor.
My brother is 5'4 and he can get just about any girl he wants and he's very good at sports.
Don't be so worried about height man your real problem is probably lack of confidence from worrying about what you don't have instead of taking credit for what talents you do have in front of others. Just stand up for yourself and you won't need the extra inches to "stand tall". :-)
