yes its normal. and i hate that happens. like one time i went to a buffet and i couldnt taste. try blowing you nose, it doesnt really work. well goodluck!

Yes. You're congested so you can't smell and taste is closely related to smell. Most people who cannot smell also cannot taste. You could have a sinus infection since the symptoms of a cold mimic those of sinusitis. If you cold does not get somewhat better in three days, see the doctor. Colds, however, usually do not go away entirely for 12 to 14 days.

Yes it is completely normal. That happens to me all the time when I have a bad cold. I cant taste anything or smell anything. Dont worry, its going to go away within a couple of days.

with a bad cold its very normal to lose all sence to smell and taste . half of tasting comes from the olfactory sensor in your nose, so if you cant smell very well, you cant taste very well.
if you still have that very same bad cold in a week go to the doc

I asked this just this morning.. Apparently, it normal.. I can not smell or taste as well.. I understand your pain, my friend.. try eating PIZZA without a taste!!! :(( Hope you get to feel better soon!!!
