Hi,
I need to get new concealor. And i'm not sure what kind to get. I just want something that won't clog my pores and cover the blemishes (acne scars and the occasional red pimple). Price isn't an issue. Sooo, what do you think works best?
Thanks!

I can suggest a couple of very good alternatives......from the experience my wife has had on the subject. She is a licensed cosmetologist, and a specialist on make-up. The following are her recommendations:
1) To cover red pimples or any red areas on your face, use green concealer.
2) If you have dark circles around your eye area, use yellow concealor.
3) If you want to cover blemishes, use a concealer according to your face color or tone.....for example; Light, Medium, Deep or Dark.

Physician's Formula (which you can purchase at any Walgreens or Walmart) offers a very good selection of quality concealers at a very good price.

Regarding your concern of clogging your pores; always look for the word "Non-Comedogenic".....which means that it will not clog your pores. Also, if you have sensitive skin, look for hypoallergenic and/or fragrance free products.

Now....if money is not an object and you really want to look fabulous, go get a makeover done at the MAC counter at any Macy's Department Stores. Their products are very, very good, and their make-up specialists can really find the perfect products to match your needs.

I hope this information helps you find the right product for you. Because remember.....it is better to look good, than to feel good!
LOL!
Best of Luck!

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage - by far the best ever. I read a newspaper article once that said that Laura Mercier started out as a graphic artist before branching out into the cosmetics industry, and has always sworn by a flawless, smooth, primed canvass before anything else. In my experience, this product helps achieve that by covering up imperfections. Her primer is the best, too!

Concealors are great for acne, scars or dark circles around the eyes. If you don't have any of those you really don't need to use it.

Good Luck,

I'm not advertising for this product ..but I love Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer SPF 8!!!
This product is unbelieveable! I love it. First I got a little sample with some other items I bought and I have been using it ever since. I have not found any product that works as well as this one.

Olay makes one that goes on smooth as silk. Dab instead of spread and dust with a light powder afterwards to set it. To use under eye, apply to fingertip then to eye area, but do not use powder there.

you could attempt Clinique's tone correcting concealor. It has distinctive colors to help neutralize your drained eyes. a large drugstore concealor is with the aid of Neutrogena (healthful dermis Smoothing concealor). It is going on relatively easily and helps conceal the worst! desire this helps.

Jane Iredale's "Disappear". It states that it's actually good for your skin, and that you can even cover a tattoo with it. I haven't tried yet though, but it sounds good.
