AMD for one reason: The AM2 socket on that board will settle for upcoming Quad center processors. Intel would not grant that luxury. sensible laptop procuring has each thing to do with upgradability. as much as now as overall performance .... asserting the AMD is slower than the Intel or vice versa is like asserting a Porche is crap simply by fact a Ferrari is speedier.... .... they are the two staggering powerhouses & odds are that neither you nor i might understand the adaptation. somebody (such as you) who's pondering those styles of platforms likes having state-of-the-paintings power. Why replace an entire mainboard as quickly as you're arranged to go Quad ? Get the AMD with an AM2 socket & you would be waiting for the subsequent point. regards, Philip T

the core 2 duo outperforms the AMD and that can be seen in any benchmark.

I guess a hardcore game is better with AMD, but for all the other things, the Intel is better.

To better answer this question You should include the processor speeds. I would go for the Intel because it is duo core and you can truly multitask on a computer.
