I say intel because it's much better... Th core 2 duos are extremely powerful and they are also energy efficient. Also, check out the vid.

AMD for one reason:

The AM2 socket on that board will accept upcoming Quad Core processors. Intel does not offer that luxury.

Smart PC purchasing has everything to do with upgradability. So far as performance .... saying the AMD is slower than the Intel or vice versa is like saying a Porche is crap because a Ferrari is faster....

.... they are both incredible powerhouses & odds are that neither you nor I would know the difference.

Any person (like you) who is considering these types of systems likes having state of the art power. Why replace an entire mainboard once you are ready to go Quad ?

Get the AMD with an AM2 socket & you'll be ready for the next level.

ok heres it . identity bypass with the intel i3 , the reason of it truly is , sandy bridge is a extra strong platform , the proccessor has hyper threading so its a twin middle that runs like a quad , and the socket lga 1155 forums have extra potential to improve , you may improve them to a center i5 or i7 proccessor extremely , even as with the amd and that sicket you may want to be on the better end of twhat change into achievable to be provided to you . so if extremely reccomend the intel guy , way extra room for progression , and for a gpu , i stumble upon that nvidia makes extra effective card (i appreciate both i merely imagine the companys who parter with them have larger high quality controls degrees ) and also you didnt record a funds so for the middle i3 identity say a gtx 560 or 560 ti might want to be the perfect without greating a bottleneck.

It totally depends upon what application you are going to use and what kind of work you need to do on your PC.

Conventionally for Graphic/3d/animation related work AMD is the best and quite stable as far playing of DVD movies etc.

If you are looking at doing technical stuff - programming, coding, general Internet work - you should go for Intel.

It all depends on what you plan to do with your PC ...if you're simply going to surf the net and send a few emails...any old processor will do. If you're doing more complex work or running advanced applications than you'd probably be better off with the Intel.

Ask yourself what would you use the computer for? Start to solve your puzzle from there by taking issues such as heat and power comsumption into account.

Both look jealously good, but I would choose Intel.
