There's no baseline for comparison. This is because the "successful societies" got where they did by conquering, enslaving, or economically dominating the less successful ones. Where would African society be, for example, if the white slavers had not destroyed the old kingdoms of Ghana and Dahomei?
It isn't through lack of trying that some ethnic groups contribute less than other ethnic groups in a society. It's because the ethnic groups that contribute less were put in that position by the ethnic groups that contribute more.
Another point to consider, since you guessed "Hispanics": if you're talking about the U.S., keep in mind that the vast majority of people on welfare are Caucasians. Why? For the simple reason that the percentages of ethnic groups on welfare are the same as the percentages of those ethnic groups in the population at large. What made you think differently? Do you think Caucasians are less likely to be on welfare in this country than any other ethnic groups?
Wrong. Dead wrong.

Great question! Look at all of the discontent people who answered the question with overwhelming anger. The simple answer is that race only defines skin color and developmental origins and no single race has contributed the least or the most as ideas have throughout history have been built upon each other like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
Those of you who are denying the existence of race are simply self-deceptive and delusional. That there are races is a fact, but that doesn't mean that one is 'better' than another! Still you must not deny reality in order to justify your points!!
Try not to take inflammatory ideas too seriously, the fun in this question and answer forum comes from the exchange of different ideas!

It's so sad to see that there are still so many ignorant morons in this world. There is only one race and that's the human race. Each person can choose to contribute something positive to this world...it has nothing to do with the amount of melanin someone's cells contain (that's all that skin/hair/eye color is). When will Dr. Martin Luther King's dream ever come true and people will finally be judged by the content of their character and not by things so superficial as the color of their skin, eyes, or hair? As long as morons like you remain, I guess it will be a very long time.

The question itself is a relevant one, but the QUESTIONER is an idiot. I think you will find for instance that "Hispanics" come from the Spanish who introduced modern civilisation to many parts of the world, and Spanish is spoken in more countries than any other bar English.
Latinos come from the Latins who were the Romans. If you think THEY made no contribution you are even more stupid than it first seems.
If you look at culture and judge art and music, Africa and most other "brown" races are sadly lacking.
It is a similar result if you look at inventions that have contributed to our modern way of life. The Aborigines, we are told, lived in Australia for 50,000 years before Western man arrived, yet they only invented what THEY needed, i.e. a stick with a hole in it and a stick with a bend in it. It suited them, but contributed nothing to the whole human race.
The same applies across the world with the exception of Western Europe. We developed not only ourselves but shared those developments, albeit many call it exploitation.
Of course, the Chinese were well advanced for their time and certainly look like they are going to do it again.
I think the answer is too complicated per se, and even adding two and two is probably too complicated for you. English grammar seems to have you stumped.
Basically, all races have had accomplishments that were beneficial to themselves; it is just that, in modern times, the Western Europeans have gone way ahead. That has only been for about 2,000 years, a short time in the history of the Earth.

Race is a social construct, not a biological reality. In terms of genetics and phenotype, there is no such thing as race. Therefore, it's entirely up to you since the way you divide people into groups may not be the way I do it or your neighbor does it. Or, to put it another way - you don't need my endorsement of your idiotic racism. Grow up and join the 21st century.

There's no way you can compare races fairly. Each person is their own person. Not one person can represent their race as a whole. If one white man does something spectacular, he doesn't earn +1 for the white team. He earns it for himself. Same for any other person. Everyone's contributes something. Even if it's cleaning homes for a living, it's contributing to society. People do what they can with what is given to them. Just because someone's job doesn't pay as well does not mean it has less value. There has to be people doing work that no one else wants to do, and they deserve more respect for doing that. This question is racist, and you know it.

This question is complicated. The answer depends both upon your definition of beneficial and of race.

The race that has done the least is a race of the lazy. They can't think beyond how everything relates to their own well being, devil take hindmost. This 'race' comes in all colors and languages & I see that some can even type.
