The Tower Suites at Wynn are very nice, although for the money I'm still a fan of Venetian, and the honest gambler will get treated like royalty at Green Valley Ranch or Ceasar's Palace.

I go to Las Vegas 2 - 3 times a year. I was there three weeks ago in fact, at the Luxury Travel Expo.
Since you asked what my favorite hotel is, not the best value, cheapest, etc. - its an easy answer - The Venetian wins, hands down!
The rooms, the restaurants, the entertainment, the ambiance, the shopping, the attractions, the entire feel of the resort is unlike any other.
We stayed in Mandalay Bay on our last visit - great resort - terrible location! It's the last hotel on the strip, and even with the free monorail to the Excalibur, it's just too far away from where we like to be. The rooms here are just OK, but they are in the process of a massive room make-over. Still, they don't compare to the (standard!!) 750 sq. ft. rooms at the Venetian.
The visit before we were at Bellagio - great hotel, great location, great big bill - but we enjoyed it. The best rooms here face the lake, so you can watch the evening's performances of the fountains - you get the music through your TV!
Here's a little tip for you - stay at the big hotels but gamble at the little ones. Our favorite gambling spot is Casino Royale - a little hole in the wall stuck between the Venetian and Harrah's. The dealers are much more friendly there than in any of the large hotels, and my wife says she does better at the slots.
If you need any info about the Venetian, here's their link:

Aloha from Down Unda!
Caesars Palace is the best we've stayed but there was nothing wrong with the Stratosphere, Tropicanna or even the 'Holiday' Motel, an inexpensive lowrise across from the Strat, either. All 4&5 Star hotels are kinda pricey so the real answer isn't a hotel at all!
Vacation rentals By Owner [VRBO]
Check it out if you've got the time to plan & the inclination to save big money & perhaps you'll find a great advantage in the alternate. [We're spending the entire month of February in a kitchenette studio with a golf course for a view for the cost of a week in any hotel!]
Have fun, whereever...Happy New Year!

I liked Caesars--that huge sunken tub in the middle of the room was awesome.
But there are so many nice hotels there now. It would just depend on how much you want to spend.
Oh, almost forgot,,if you are looking for pure luxury and do not need to be in the middle of Vegas--try the Ritz-Carlton in Lake Las Vegas. WOW that place is outstanding--and expensive.
I wish I was going back there right now...

This is my favorite hotel. It's not the most luxurious or most expensive but its great.
THE RIO!!!!!
it's off of the strip a little so your away from all the hustle and bustle.
It's and all suite hotel. You get either two queen size beds or one king. Refrigirator and microwave and coffee machine. One WHOLE side of your room is windows. The shower has a windows to look out at the bigger window. Whirpool tubs. Internet and games. Two hotel towers.
Great casino
Many clubs ( even one on the roof!!! )
Nice restaurants with great food at a reasonable price. They have cute guys and girls dance every ten minutes on stands in the casino.
Cool arcade and food court.
Four huge swimming pools ad great hot tubs.
OOOOOOO!!!! AND THE BEST PART!!!!!!!!
Every nite they have sorta like a mardi gras celebration. They have a train that rides on the ceiling. They have great music and cute dancers ( both guys and girls ) and they throw out beeds from their train cars. It's SOOOOOOOOO COOOOLLL AND SOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!! THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!!!!!
PLEASE STAY HERE!!!
IT"S FABOOOOOLUOS!!!!!!!!

Nah, stay at the Four Seasons. You enter south of the entrance to Mandalay Bay, and the Four Seasons is on the top floors of Mandalay. Alot of my friends stay there when they come into town, and it was the best hotel i've seen (been in them all).
