Wow 3 years is quite a long time ;p. Well my ears were pretty sensitive so it took about 6 months till I actually changed them x]. But if you've already gotten it and cleaned it without it swelling up, getting red, etc. then you should be able to change it in about 3 months. But feel free to take it out if you want to be able to clean it better ;p.

I've heard you should wait 3 months, it only took mine a few weeks to heal. Clean them everyday and only put quality earrings in them. Fake silver/gold can irritate the skin faster.

6 weeks to a year depending on where the piercing is, and how you take care of it.

It depends on how good you take care of them, like cleaning them and putting on the medicine that was given to you when you had this done. It also depends on your health also.

3 years are you kidding? I had mine done so long ago, I can't remember exactly but I'd be more inclined to say around a month.
