He had three. His youngest child was Edward. He was the son of Jane Seymour, and became King after his dad died. However, he was very sickly, and died young. His elder half-sister, Mary, became Queen. Mary was the daughter of Henry's first wife, Catherine of Aragon. She was fiercely Catholic, and burned anyone who opposed that religion. Hence, she gained the name, "Bloody Mary." She was also in poor health, and only reigned 5 years. After her death, Henry's second child, Elizabeth, daughter of Anne Boleyn, reigned as Queen. She never married, and was known as the "Virgin Queen." At her death, she named, as her heir, James the VI of Scotland, so he became James I of England.

He actually had several children with his first 3 wives, but only three who lived-Mary, Elizabeth, and Edward.
With each of his wives:
Catherine of Aragon-6 (Mary was the only one who lived past the age of one)
Anne Boleyn-1, even though she was pregnant 3 times. (Elizabeth)
Jane Seymour-1 (Edward)
No children or reported pregnancies with Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, or Catherine Parr.
He had 1 illegitimate child he acknowledged-Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond, by Bessie Blount.

Three.

Mary was oldest and daughter from his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. Elizabeth was the middle and daughter of second wife, Anne Boleyn (who was rumored to be a witch). Edward was the youngest, but as boy he was first in line for the throne.
