I am Lamar university student with hearing disabilities. 3D is my great passion and want to make development in 3D skills. I have the planning to transfer from Lamar University for summer, 2007. i recommend Ringling School of Art and Design! They have a fantastic animation program and are probably one of the most affordable art schools out there. I went there and now I work in the videogame industry. Many of my friends work in film and videogames. check out their website, talk to someone there.

ps: getting an internship w/ pixar or any other place is difficult, especially without training in 3d (or going to a school).

In Orlando is a school called Full Sail that is supposed to be very good for that sort of thing. EA sports is also in Orlando so I guess there is a lot of connections back and forth.
