your best bet is to look for a little hole on the front of the disk tray
unfold a paperclip and poke it through
listen for a click and the tray should open (remember you may need to apply pressure to get it to open)
if there is a disk inside remove it
close the drive and resart the computer
that should do it :-)

Thats happened to my DVD player several times. If you haven't used the DVD player in a few days then go to try and open it, it will take a while for it to open. If it takes longer than 5 minutes to open then you should just take it to a place where they can fix it. Or just buy another one.

It could be jammed, sometimes caused by a cracked cd and usually when that happens you have to manually open it and that can cause some damage.

Try to read your manufacturer's user manual. Folllow the trouble shooting step by step. Stop wasting any time looking for solution without even trying to understand your manual.
