Why does life feal so loney and meaningless sometimes, why can't I just feel happy?

This is probably not going to sound right to you in the state of mind you are in, but really, it's all about your perspective. I used to be ridiculously depressed to the point of almost killing myself. Now I'm extremely glad to be alive. And you know what? Life sucks just as much now as it did when I was depressed. You have to realize that there is a 50/50 balance to things. For every bad thing that happens, something equally good happens. Problem is, the bad things overshadow the good things so much that you don't see them. It all depends on what you focus on. Try really hard to see those good things in your life. It will snowball and eventually you'll feel as happy as I do. Good luck.

The way you feel is temporary. There is no way to feel happy all the time. As dismal as I may feel at times, I keep it in my head that there is no way anyone can continuously feel either happy or sad. If you feel bad today, chances are you are going to feel good tomorrow. If you feel down most of the time, go to a doctor. There is a chance you have a chemical imbalance that can be corrected by an antidepressant or mood stabilizer. My best to you. Because life sucks like that. If god existed, why the frak arn't we in paradise right now?! Thats why im athiest, I can't remember a time i was ever happy. Life sucks, but hear's some advice, if life does suck, and you turn to drugs, it will suck worse than a vacuume in hyperdrive.

God made you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. pain tells us something is wrong or missing. Look to Jesus.
