I wan to combine my weight lifting routine with cardiovascular exercise.I'm just not sure how to do it. I'm a 45 y.o. male

Yes, you can jog the day after weight training on your legs. You can also do your cardio after lifting weights, but you should only do about 30 minutes because all your ATPs will be burned up by then.
