quick way is to type dxdiag in your run box and look in the display tab

I'll assume for the sake of my sanity you are running Windows XP. Right Click on My Computer and choose properties. Choose the Hardware Tab and then choose Device Manager. Now click on the little plus symbol next to "Display adapters" and the details of your video card will be shown.

Well open your computer up and take the video card out. Or hit START, go to CONTROL PANEL, then to DISPLAY icon, then to HARDWARE, the to DISPLAY ADAPTOR and you will see what you have. You can also see what other stuff modem, etc, you have in your computer.
