While going outside would be a good idea, heres a list:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, old but good
Gothic 3 (never played it but got decent reviews)
Half life 2 mods (dystopia is a good one)
doom 3 (personally i didn't like it but you might)
Neverwinter nights 2
Dungeon siege 1&2

Also i noticed that almost all your mmo's are free to play, usually those aren't pretty good, besides burning crusade is coming out for WoW and thats looking pretty good.

I know a few of MMOG types, so there is no grinding.

There's PangYa (Albatross 18) which is an online golf game at albatross18.com.

There are some casual games at ijji.com.

(You might have forgotten to mention Counter Strike, but if you haven't try it.)

SpaceCowBoy Online is still an MMORPG, but the grinding isn't hack and slash style. You pilot a futuristic fighter jet and you are playing in a dogfight style, where you use your mouse to guide your jet around and kill monsters still. But SCO offers a great PvP(Player vs Player) system.

Try GunZ: The Duel. It's an MMOTPSRPG. (A bit of a mouthfull, but it's Massively Multiplayer Online
Third Person Shooting Role Playing Game..) You get the excitement of a fast paced shooter, and you level up while you defeat the competition. GunZ.ijii.com (If you aren't in North America, you still have to use this version because Global version is pretty much dead now)

The Sims 3 Hospital Tycoon Roller Coaster Tycoon Railroad Tycoon Mall Tycoon Airport Tycoon Business Tycoon Cinema Tycoon 2 Wildlife Tycoon: Venture Africa Theme Park Theme Aquarium Obviously there are many more and remember that they each have sequels like Zoo Tycoon has Zoo Tycoon 3 and various expansions and the same goes for most of the tycoon games.

hmm have you played counter-strike before if not you should try it theres counter-strike source and regular counter-strike there the same game but source has better graphics
