I'VE NEVER TASTED POULET BEFORE.

No! Really? Never tasted poulet....whatever that is.
I once worked in a French restaurant. The only white meat we served was only eithr chicken or frog (may be fish too).
May be it's the othe way around. May be it is chicken that tastes like poulet.
