Its lead to beleive that Robin is the "Mother" the story is about, untill in one episode at the end, he says to the kids
"...and thats the story of how I met your AUNT Robin!" Sort of a twist to the story. So who do you think is the mother?

A great show! I totally wish it would be Robin...but nope..she is aparently the childrens aunt. Thus it must be her sister, who we havent met, UNLESS he said "AUNT" in a retarical (sp) way...as one might call their best friend an uncle or aunt to their children.

I think its the lady that made the wedding cake or someone we haven't met yet but if they said aunt robin it must be robins sister if she has one or a completely different robin

My Husband thinks it will be a character that hasn't been introduced yet, maybe a twist ending to a season or series finale at some point. I love the show though!
