I don't think we villified him. It was already there, and we made it more public. I agree with the fact that yeah, the war was misguided. However, talking to troops who've been there, and not listening to the media propaganda, people are truely happier and thank the troops everyday for what we've done there. My mother has lived in a Mid-east country, and she said it's really hard for the native people, that most are so poor, it's unbelievable. And too see a democratic society that will work start to form, it brings tears to the eyes. I think it needed to be done. As long as he was alive, there was a glimmer of hope that he could regain his reign of oppression. But hey, thanks for being honest about it.

Dr Death, are you saying I'm not Christian for being happy that a man who has killed thousands upon thousand of innocent people is dead? I agree, it's greusome, but I'm also being sarcastic about the dance thing. I think it's justice.

I'm dancing as we speak, but it's strange to me. I'm very anti-capital punishment, no matter the circumstances. I feel you never take a life unless your own is threatened. Life in prison for sub-scum like Saddam would have been nice in a way, though. Picture this: For the rest of his life, they could have given him three square meals a day in a tiny prison cell. Put a plug in his mouth between meals and hand cuff him so he can't move or speak as people he's harmed come by and tell him all the terrible things he's done to them. If that didn't kill him, a 24 hour broadcast in his cell of episodes of The View might do it. Five women who dare to speak their minds, all talking at once and he can't do a damn thing about it. Now that's torture at it's best.

I'm not dancing. I think it's better to let him live (but never let him go, ofcourse), and teach him (for many years) what's good and what's not good.

You stated (elsewhere) that you wanted to see the hanging. I think sure Al Jazeera will show it: http://english.aljazeera.net/
But i can't recommend it. Looking at violence creates more violence, regardless of what some people might think.

In Iran you can get hanged for all kind of reasons: being gay, being pregnant without being married, adultery, not accepting an arranged marriage, show your face (woman), playing music, etc.

No. nonetheless he grow to be a foul guy or woman he could of been left to rot in a detention center cellular. And he grow to be carried out t the beginning up of a non secular pageant that's in simple terms going to reason greater violence and shows a loss of admire to the religion. such diverse troops have died in a pointless conflict and now such diverse greater will die because of this detrimental timing. So in my eyes they have been as undesirable as Saddam for doing this.they desire a conflict afterall yet noone else does

Actually no. Who knows what the real history of what happened there is. We've villified him because it suited our political purposes.

Yeah, there are people sick enough to rejoice in the death of a human being.

Saddam was one of them, and there's plenty more like him.

The joke is, some of them call themselves "Christians". Woot!
