i have Windows XP MCE
and a 200 GB hard drive
i tried fdisk but it did not work

do what KenMakazie said but instead of formating simply remove the unwanted partition

Go to your Computer Management from Administrative Tools
Control Panel\ Administrative Tools\Computer Management\ then from the left tab select Disk Management.

Try to find the lost partition, and format it. It may be listed as a separate drive, but it's ok, you can still use it. Make sure you back up your data before doing the above steps.

Use soft ware called partition magic and re size the partition.

you ca use Computer management and then chane the partition
or u can usE ASOFTWARE CALLED AcRONICS
