You didn't say if order makes a difference. In other words, is:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
different than:
4, 2, 3, 5, 6, 1
?
If so, the answer is a permutation: P(49, 6) = 49!/43! = 49x48x47x46x45x44 = 10,068,347,520.
If not, it's a combination: C(49, 6) = 49!/(43!6!) = 49x48x47x46x45x44/(6x5x43x2x1) = 13,983,816.

Put your new variables in the equation I showed you 20 minutes ago and you'll get 13,983,816. If you don't know basic combinatorics you really shouldn't be gambling.
