it's nice.. I have an imagination of pretty girl with the name of Stefanie...

I like the fact that it's spelled with an "F" instead of :"ph"....but it's not one of my favorite names.
But...I really think people choose names based on people that they've known and liked. I certainly do that. My favorites are Claire, Kathleen and Anna for girls names.

I think it's a pretty name. It's a feminine form of "Steven" or "Stephan".
