No. I feel sorry for the people of Iraq who have to deal with the violence and chaos that the collapse of his dictatorship left behind. I feel sorry for all the people he tortured and for the families of the thousands of people who he murdered.

A part of me feels like he got what he deserved- but then I would be narrow-minded and harsh.
He lived in materialistic luxary with a palace and all...he brought the modern world to Iraq, but while creating lives for people he also destroyed many...
Do I feel sorry for him? Did anyone feel sorry for Attila the Hun? How about Genghis Khan? How about Hitler?...

No, he deserved the sentence he got. I feel sorry for the families of all those he massacred over the years he was in power. All tyrants eventually get taken down as they should. I totally believe what goes around comes around and It certainly did in this case.

Can't say that I feel pity for him, I do pity the ones that suffered due to his actions though.
May this country take heed, pick up the pieces move on, and form some type of government that is effective, balanced and will let us bring our soldiers home.

Hey Jack...He was humiliated? Are you kidding? If you don't want to be humiliated like he was avoid genocide at all costs....
No I don't feel sorry for Saddam Hussein. Do you think he felt one iota of sorrow for any of the people he ordered tortured and murdered Do you think he sent their remaining family members sympathy cards? How humiliating is it to be dumped in a mass grave with the flies and maggots eating your flesh? That's what he did to thousands of people. Get a life Jack....You don't know Jack, Jack....

Why did'nt you people direct this same anger to Pol Pot and other dictators in Africa?
Because those are not prime time materials for CNN and Foz News, no economic returns for Bush and cohorts.
Get real Americans, you are so naive.

I know it is karma coming around but I feel sorry for the individual in that he did not see the evil of his deeds and change his ways when he had the chance years ago.

I'm not going to lie. I feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for everybody though, even his victims. I'm dead set against the death penalty and I feel nothing but sympathy whenever it is undertaken.
