I live in Florida.
And I'll probably give a thumb up or a best answer to whoever says my town as their favorite.

I'll give thumb ups if you are close.
But please, tell me your favorite part of FL.
I would love to know. Anywhere from key West to Ferndina Beach, or from Pensacola to the Everglades

Tampa/Clearwater/St. Petersburg-Basically has everything you need-beaches, luxurious hotels, and stores. Great for shopping, but there aren't really that many places to entertain yourself with besides Clearwater Beach and Busch Gardens.

Panama City-The beaches are priceless, but, truth be told, there is very little to do besides go clubbing and to the beach here.

Marco Islands-By far my favorite strip of beaches in Florida, and it contains some of Florida's best hotels in my opinion.

Orlando-Great place for tourists-it contains Disney World, Island of Adventure, Universal Studios and much more. I like most of the hotels there, my favorite being the Gaylord Palms/the J.W. Marriot Resort. It's a great city, and the Mall of Millenia is my favorite mall in the state.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale-I've been here a couple of times and didn't really like it, though I know some people that do. Eh.

There are many other regions that I've visited, and if you want me to elaborate, just ask. Orlando is probably my favorite, however.

It's a tie between Key West and Miami for me

I like St. Augustine actually. There's some interesting history there, and it isn't as tourist-y as other parts of the state.
