we would be back in the 18th century, except that we have oil, natural gas, nuclear power, etc. so we have other options if worse came to worse....but then again if you need electricity to process our other sources (which I'm pretty sure we do) then we'd be outta luck....any more candles in the house mom?

I would be forced to fire up my generator in the garage and tie it into my service panel. This is what I do at least once or twice a year when snow and ice knocks out the power.
Sorry, but I just can't conceive of life without electricity.

There will be a lot of changes undoubtedly. But we shall survive. God has given us many sources of energy. Other sources will take its place.
But without electricity, there will be no Yahoo questions and Answers for some time. Then we will get another upgraded version.

actually, i would love it!! I have always wanted to go back in time and live like they did before electricity.
it would make our lives much harder and it would be hard to get used to it and of course, our addictions to the computers would be hard to overcome but, we could do it and we would be stronger, healthier and happier, I believe!
