The internet explorer was not working on my computer. AIM and outlook express worked fine. But the iTunes store and internet explorer worked for about 10 minutes, and then it would just say "connecting to site: google.com" or "bellsouth.net" or whatever I typed. Now, suddenly, none of the internet is working. At all. Except, I have two computers plugged into one modem. The computer I am on right now is our old one, and very slow. The internet works fine on it, though, and hasn't had any problems. The other computer, (the newer one) has just recently been having problems, but I don't understand it because they are both plugged into the same modem, which says the internet is working fine. Like I said, one the other computer the internet works every time for about 5-10 minutes after I restart the computer, and then it suddenly stops working. No "This page cannot be displayed", though. Just a blank page. HELP!!!!!

I get the very same thing. Am told it is my cache and cookies.. clean them all over the place and it will still happen.

Perhaps it is the bug that is still in IE 7 which they forced us to download.. now, with the IE 7 sun java will not always work either.

I will be watching this also... so if you get help I can get a little too...

JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW...

YOU ARE NOT ALONE ON THIS...
And it is important for you to know it is NOT your computer.

Working with a slow computer can be time consuming as programs/ applications take a long time to start. This problem is more pronounced in computers which have been used for 6 or more months. More information at http://fixit.in/slowcomputer.html

AFTER YOUR COMPUTER IS TURNED ON CLICK THE START BUTTON AND FIND CONTROL PANEL THEN CLICK INTERNET OPTIONS IN CONTROL PANEL, AFTER YOU CLICK INTERNET OPTIONS CLICK THE TAB THAT SAYS ADVANCED. THEN SCROLL DOWN AND SEE IF THE BOX THAT SAYS ENABLE PAGE TRANSITIONS IS CHECKED. IF ITS NOT THEN CHECK THAT BOX.

well, first it's not a modem, it's a router. It looks like something maybe disconnected.
