It's about time he had his last breath.
Why didn't they just shoot him , when they found him hidden in the ground hide-out ??
Think of all the people that have lost their lives because he was put on trial and was telling his madmen to go out and bomb innocent people in the name of Saddam.
Now comes the next wave of killings.....and of course they will say it is for their God
No God wants these so-called martyrs

Well, the USA didn't make the decision to hang him, it was Iraq. I think it must be a great relief to most of the people of Iraq and all over the world. As for the war in general, it has already given the US an unpopular image outside the US and their supporters like Britain. However hopefully this will be a time when progress can be made... it remains to be seen...

Don't be so afraid. It was Iraqis who hanged Saddam, not the USA. Hopefully this is a turning point for Iraq, where they put the past behind them and move toward peace and prosperity.

If you really think that everything is over and that peace has come to us and everyone's comming home, then you're just lying to yoruself. As for what everyone else thinks of America...I think it just emphasizes that America is a superpower and a bully and just make people want to take us out as a result. That just the way it goes though...bring too much attention to yourself and people will want a piece of you. Which is why I've been saying we should have minded our own business.

Unfortunately, I suspect that the Arab world (largely Sunni) will look at the US in an even worse way than they do now...
And that Saddam's death will create a martyr that will further enhance recruitment of terrorists...
Its unfortunate, but there is no way to prevent the Arab world from seeing this as a US run execution...

I have no idea...all I know is this is a conflict that I do not agree with and an administration that I did not vote for...I support our men and women in service without question because that is the right thing to do...beyond that I hope that we can get this thing over and get them back home soon out of harms way.

I am just wondering if some more maniacs from over there will come to the US and bring down some more buildings or attack us in our own streets as a sign of retribution.

The world need to thank Mr. George Bush and Americans for getting rid of an evil! The world is now at peace with themselves now that the evil is gone! Kudos to America!

I think it's about time. That man has caused so much evil, hurt, and pain that he deserved to die. I do not want to be cruel but it is the truth. I think now that he is excuted that other countries dislike us even more and I think they will hate us even more.
