The guys an oger not question but it creeps me out to think that the USA did the guy in quite like it has happened. Seems like we would have done better to put him away like Noriega or? The whole thing kinda stinks to me. Anyone else feel this way?

Yah, a real bad dude. But as has been aptly pointed out ...given his uppance by the good old US of A. I guess I'm just all soft hearted but you know folks, what goes around, comes around.
I guess he got his ...makes me wonder when I'm/We are going to get ours?
Just a soft old man's heart beating out the bad, man blues.
And we move on.

I do. I wished they just made him scrub dirt off of prison floors with a toothbrush for the rest of his life...then he could think about what he did. Instead, he's dead. Wow, that solves...nothing.

Yes . . . with all of the murderous dictators in the world it seems very arbitrary that this one gets hanged while others either get pats on their back from our government or roam around the world in exile or put away, like Noriega. It's like a crap shoot and we don't go after the guys until they become uncooperative to US.
You can't deny this neo-cons. Saddam was once our ally and armed by us.
But like that WWII saying, when they came after us there was nobody left to speak, you have to wonder what kind of karma will come back to the judges who cast stones.

I do not feel pity for Saddam by one atom. I feel sad for his victims. Saddam decades ago wove his noose. If only he had used all his power to better his people Sunni, Kurds and Shiites. Instead he chose to be the Stalin of the middle east.
This is justice long delayed.

personally i dont think the death sentence is quite right, but he did kill a lot of people. not just any people either. his own people. i think he deserved to get stuck in a prison and live in a tiny cell for eternity.
