I prefer perfumes that smell like real things in nature, not chemical creations. Sometimes those types of perfumes can be over powering and they don't smell good to everyone. So, I suggest something at bath and body works (bathandbodyworks.com), such a body splash mist. My favorite is the vanilla. Good for any age and are not too expensive.

I love princess by vera wang (kinda sweet), inspiration by lacoste (very airy and inviting), be deliious by DKNY (very exotic), and with love by hilary duff (kinda on the sweet side, but very musky) I've been reading a lot of teen vogue so... they give you a LOT of perfume samples in the magazine. If all else fails go around the department store perfume counters and ask for samples! hope this helps!

I like Givincy Organza Indecence and Jean Paul Gaultier So Classique. Although I am 28 and these are higher end so I am not sure if a teen would necessarily purchase them. They are both Orientals with notes of musk and sandlewood. Very pretty...

Well,if its a girl thanmaybe she wants that new fragrance by aeropostle its called aeropostle its smell so good and fresh and i love the case. You can also try malia by hollister or candies they sell it at kohls.

hum for teenagers; i know lots of younger teens love paris hilton's and brittney spears gragrances cuz they're sweet smellin'.
a lot like ralph lauren's cool for a fresh scent.
for older teens; a lot like Gucci's envy me, its kind of flowery and also Chanel's Chance which is fresh scented.
