Her body is doing so many strange things right now. Hormones are a big part of the personality change, but so is weight gain, fatigue, water retention, etc.
Be kind to her.
(no, I never had a wife that was preganant, I was the wife)

Hormones really can go crazy during pregnancy - there's not much we can do to help that. However, I realized that I got way too ridiculous sometimes about small things, but they truly seemed big to me (although I felt badly about when I thought about it later). I finally found something that kept me and my emotions fairly stable (there's no such thing as perfect). I started taking a good quality B-Complex vitamin, mine was a B-50 mixture. Actually, B-50 helps everyone's mood, male or female! Be warned though - you have to take it with food, or you will feel nauseated.

Hormons are seriously to blame here. But you might not wanna tell her that. Seriously she can't control it. I'm like the scarest chick ever right now. I feel like killing people for small things. Like something as small as someone leaving the tea out of the fridge. If the house is dirty I go insane and cry and scream and throw things and if anyone says anything to me thats not lemme do that for you they are next in my rampage. Shes carrying this huge thing in front of her shes uncomfortable and she just wans to rest and be pampered a little. Try giving her what she wants sometimes. Clean up after yourself and possibly sometimes clean the whole house before she can go crazy. It will help alot!!!

Well yeah we are all rude or a b*tch and its not cuz we want to be, its cuz our hormones are all over the place, one min we're happy the next we're crying and then we want rip someones head off, the fact that we are huge doesn't help either! Then we also know that soon we are gonna have to push that big headed thing outta that small hole down there, keep those things in mind when she's being rude again! she's having a really tough time!

It is normal for women to be touchy, on edge, or moody when they are pregnant. Their hormones are going nuts, they are uncomfortable all the time, and they have a self image of being fat.
Just take a deep breath, and smile at her when she acts this way. It's all about character, and men with character love their wives no matter how they treat them back.
Support and understanding are the keys to getting through it.

It's all hormones sweetie, I promise! They do crazy things to a woman. Just hang in there with her and be as patient and loving as you can. I promise it will be over soon and you'll have your same sweet loving gf/wife back. That is, if she doesn't get post-partum depression. If that happens write back and we'll guide you from there.
