in-game, mephisto is killed destroying his soulstone, in video, diablo is killed destroying the soulstone, baal is killed? I mean, the worldstone is destroyed but what happen to baal? the soulstone is destroyed in the explosion or what?

I think it's safe to assume he's dead for now... unless they scrap up enough money to push out another sequel in which he comes back for lots of super vengeance........ but still probably a plothole

Only Mephisto's soulstone is destroyed in the game, which means he cannot remanifest himself again, but because of the nature of the universe another lord of hate will eventually come into being. The other 2 are not really permanently killed, but their plans are foiled by destroying the world stone.
