I think it was good for the world and for the country Iraq!
Although I have my doubts because that might not be the real Saddam Hussein. According to some news he has double identity.

I generally feel like only God should be the final judge of what happens in any situation such as this ,but I couldn't help but to scream out WTF when you used the term "Harsh" as defining his death. I've seen too much footage of what Saddam and many others of those cowards are continuing to do to those innocent people! Ever since 9/11 my eyes have really been opened to what goes on this world every day and God forgive me for what I'm about to say but, not only do I feel saddam , Bin Laden, and any other person who desires to inflict harm upon innocent lives should be executed ,I feel they should be drug down the streets of town at a very slow pace in parade fashion while bystanders throw huge rocks at there face and are beathen beyond recognition. Hanging him was a joke and was too quick and painless. He needs to suffer a slow death! The word "harsh" should only be used to describe the victims of saddam ,not Saddam himself! I feel anybody who serves Saddam or has no remorse in his actions also should die the same death he does cause to me you're all scum and need to removed from this world! I'm sorry if I steped on your pretty little toes but the fact is we have a huge problem here that needs to be dealt with and too many people are just taking it like a grain of salt and throwing it to the wind.

I don't agree with the death penalty, in any situation. A conviction in a court of law comes with punishment. Punishment cannot be served out if a person is dead. Killing is revenge. Revenge is over-rated. Those who hated Saddam will celebrate, others will mourn......But Iraq and it's people are no better off than they were yesterday. The soldiers are no safer.....It's meaningless.

He only deserved it IN A WAY?
HARSH?

What I think is harsh was the little boy covering his sisters face as the gas filled the town and everyone was murdered.

I think it was harsh to throw people into woodchoppers while their families watched.

I think it was harsh to murder thousands of innocent people.

He wasn't innocent. He didn't suffer as he made others suffer. They even stopped his body from being hurt after he was killed.

He got off WAY too easy.

He got what he deserved but there was an opportunity to use diplomacy but now I am sure the divide between Shites and Sunnis has increased more.Any way it is too late now .Only the time can tell what is next.
