Could be a buffer overflow/underflow problem with the CD drive or incompatible CD-Rs.
Try to write at a lower speed or change to lower-speed CD-Rs

there are few probabilities..1st..yr windows media player might outof date.2nd,burn it in a slower speed,8x to 16x will do,don't go beyond that speed.3rd,your burner might have some problems, change to a better one like imation or sony..The best software i recommend you is NERO BURNING..try to use this burning engine to burn songs or any other kinda stuff.
