ask your minister where the bible says explicitely that to be gay is bad or unchristian. And do not let him pass off anythign that he might think alludes to things gay; you need him to show you the words homosexual and gay in the bible.
Of course since those words are not there he can't but he will (unless he is a really open minded soul) try to persuade you that the bible says being gay is bad. And then you can introduce him to the people who also say the bible says blacks are inferior and should all be enslaved. Oh and don;t forget to ask him why he eats shell fish if th ebible says doign tha tis an abomination and why he wears clothing of mixed fabric when that too is prohibited in the bible.
the key is all in knowing th edifference between the word of god and the rules of man. And knowing that the only true word of god is in the 10 commandments not leviticus.

You can be gay AND be a Christian. According to the Bible, homosexuality is a sin, but it is not an unforgiveable sin. However, the Bible and I differ in our opinions on this subject; I can find nothing in the idea of homosexuality that would make it inherently bad. It does not promote procreation, and I think that this has been a main theme for Christians--to tie sex explicitly to procreation, rejecting all other uses for it. I believe this is short-sighted and an incomplete view of the human condition and to suppress homosexuality is to suppress part of what makes us human. The emerging evidence of homosexuality in the animal kingdom seems to point to its having a definite use in the social order; to reject it outright is short-sighted. However, if you wish to adhere to the tenets of Christianity, you can still be gay, but this means you are in sin. I don't know a human being alive who is without sin, though! They just tend to accept people who eat or drink to excess, or lie or cheat, etc. more readily than they accept someone who is gay...

why do u think u r a gay? is it because u like the same sex? Or u dislike the other sex?
It is not the matter of christian or unchristain, God will judge us all.
By the way, God loves everyone and He didn't created people to be gay. If He would, then He wouldn't create Adam and Eve.
try to know ur true identity in God. u will know that gay is not really gay and God loves them too.

I am a straight female, and have 2 guy friends that are gay. They h/b together for about 16 years. One of them is pastor of a church, and the other leads the singing. They both live a very christian life both in the church and outside the church. I believe that God judges us as to what is in our hearts and if we live our lives according to His plan, not by our sexuality.

from the book ¨purpose driven something ¨ i read that you´re not here impress your christian whatever, who you should impress is the almighty god. but a little common sense will tell you when not to mess with other people´s insecurities . try to surround yourself with people who understand you ( not necessarily approve, i would not like a gay person approach my children to play whether you intentions are good or not and certainly i ain´t going to wait to find out ), but just like very fat people(i am one) or alcoholics, or junkies, or illegal immigrants etc or anything seen as ¨bad¨ to our society we can still find a little corner and a circle of friends to make a difference to improve the lives of those around you.

no... why would you think being gay is bad? Gays have no control of their sexuality - they are born that way. They did nothing wrong. In terms of unchristian, i believe there are some gay christian

no I don't believe that being gay is bad...they say that "God created everyone equal"...no straight person is any better than any gay person..so no...being gay is not bad

The answer is NO it is not bad. It is not unchirstian-listen God has never created anything or anyone he did not love and see a purpose for. God loves all of us! It is the old men who sit in there churches trying to tell the rest of us what we should believe or what they think we should be. do not listen to them. you are good and God loves you without guidelines!

No, I don't think it's bad if it's love in it and if ur unchristian you don't have anything to worry about.
I'm christian and I'm straight but I find it hard to take my eyes off gay boys. Their hott and it's even cute for two girls to date...if their pretty
