You won't actually have milk until after the baby is born. Even then, it may take up to 2-3 days for it to fully come in, and trust me, you'll know it! Your breasts will feel like they've gained 10-pounds, and they'll feel like they're going to burst. Whatever fluid comes out of them now is usually clear or a milkish-color. Colostrum is the word. Anyhow, just be patient, and you'll find out soon enough!

Don't you develop breast milk after the child is delivered? A chemical called Prolactin is released and then you have the milk. I think I remember this from my Chemistry class in college.

Why are you worried about milk already, and there is no baby to feed it to yet? You will get milk and it actually doesn't feel to good in your breast because they feel like bricks.

my boobs started leaking the clear fluid at 22 weeks
(sorry, it slipped my mind at the moment what the clear fluid is called-not colostrum, that comes right before delivery)

it doesnt...you don't get milk until after the baby is born and it first it is collostreum (sp?) then as you get a routine going your body will produce the milk
